This year we enjoyed the trip very much as compare to previous years, because after 4yrs the railway dept have started train facility for Nagapattinam via Tanjore. This time along with my family members my aunty and one of our neighbor also came. Our travel started with boarding the train on 19-05-2010 11:45 pm and we have reached the destination around at 8:30 in the morning. First, we all stayed at nagoor then visited velankanni and spent a time at velankanni beach. Next day, we started our journey to Tanjavur to see the “Big Temple” which is one of the most prized architectural sites in Indian history. There in the morning we spent time to see the temple and worship the Pragadeeshwar. Evening, we all spent our time in the near side park. After that, we bought some Tanjore dolls for remembering our first visit to Tanjavur temple and then started back to Chennai on 21-05-2010 .
