Today, It was a new experiance for me. Yesterday i was informed by shiva to do the Cubical Decoration. Though i had a hectic task in my hand accepted to do the decoration. Initially, i planned to do the "Go Green theme" and searched for related information from internet to get ready for friday. Suddenly i came to know most of them have choosed the same theme for decoration. so myself i had to change my theme. on thursday i sat with vinay and we both were thinking about to choose the theme, eventhough i didn't get any theme in my mind, for vinay i got theme "Team Work" then he asked me to get something to decorate on friday. after this i have left early from office to buy decoration things. i came to home at 6.00 o clock and myself and chinna we both were went into the shopping to buy decoration materials. we were shopped till 8 O clock and purchased some tree kind of things and along with whatever chinna had suggested to buy that also i bought. After finished the shopping, i went into the xerox shop and took some teamwork related printouts for vinay. after finishing the shopping nearly at 10 o clock myself,appu and vinoth we were discussed about decoration. then i have got some idea to do the decoration for next day. finally, i have decided to go for the theme Green City.
Today morning, for office i have started from my home at 7.30 on the way i picked vinay and reached office at 8.00 clock. then i have started to do my decoration before the judge comes. i have finished my decoration around at 11.00 clock and i have named my theme as a green city. then exactly, at 11.05 Murali the leader of ISL and IE towers has came to judge the decoration. suddenly, Nithin who is one of the facilitator was said, everyone has 2 minutes to explain their theme. since i wasn't expected this i prepared myself to say something before murali comes to my desk. After he met 3 to 4 persons from my adjacent desk. It was my turn he came and he asked me to explain the theme. I said , "My theme is Green City, If you looked at chennai 20 years back there were birds,trees and less pollution now everthing got changed even we can't see birds like sparrow. so future, i expect chennai city shoud be like this" :)
I know it won't happen but sake of telling i told this and murali left from my place and he met all persons from ISL, aaround at 2 o clock the winners were announced , the first Prize was won by Gomathi and 2nd was won by Senthil. Myself i got the appreciation from other team members which i felt it is as equal as getting 1st prize.
