External Auditing (04-Nov-2008)

I have been trying to write about my External Auditing Experience After 3 weeks of hectic job schedule now i got some time to write about this.It was on 4th of Nov 2008After a month of preparation for auditing. Morning, myself and our team members who all are nominated for the audit were prepared ourselves for the auditing. Then we had a meeting with our organization leaders. later, We had the introduction round with Auditor Mr.Vinodh Kanna who is Major General came from Australia.He is an eminent personality who had worked with our ex-president Mr.Abdual Kalam and had around 25 + years of experience in Indian Army. Apart from that he also worked in many projects like recycling, producing conventional method of solor energy and had a experience in many countries for these projects. Till after noon our deliveray manager was explaining about the process and standards of our ISL projects. After it got finished we all had good lunch.Then, again we have gathered for auditing. Since mine was scheduled at 3:00 o clock i was preparing with all the auditing documents to makesure to answer well for the auditors questions. Later, i came to know that there is no audit for individual person it is going to be with one of the person in a project.So our manager decided to nominate the person called Devi from our department. Around at 5 o clock Shiva shared the results with our ISL team and he said there is no "Non Confirmation" record found by the auditor. Then, All our team members were happy that we didn't get any NC's also shiva has appriciated the all team members for helping the audit to get succeded. Personnally, I had good exposure about the Auditing and the process and standards of ISO9001:2000.
