After a month of waiting the day has come to start our trip for Tirunelveli. The members of this trip are along with Me, Sasi, Senthil, Eswar, Dharani, Raman, Rajesh, Shiva, Shankar, Mani ,My brothers (Appu and Vinoth) and kothandam (sasi’s relation). It was around at 6:00 PM we have taken the auto from our street to reach the central railway station. After boarding the train Me and Mani have taken the window seat and senthil, sasi, shiva, rajesh, appu, vinoth, dharani and kothandam stayed in our comportment. Eswar, Raman and Shankar have taken the next comportment. In travel, as usual we were making fun of each other in that Dharani was the most targeted person. We all enjoyed the site seeing especially we enjoyed seeing the Western Ghats Mountains. After a 16 hrs of travel from Chennai to Tirunelveli next day we reached the station called Valliyur the place where marriage is going to happen.On 16th Jun 2010

When we all get down from the train sasi’s father and his relations were waiting to receive us. after few minutes, they arranged the cab in that we travelled for 15min to reach sasi’s uncle house. When we entered his uncle’s house there few relations along with his mother and sister were sitting in the hall and welcoming us. There sasi introduced his cousin Saravanan who helped a lot to go around tirunelveli. He took us in his backyard for taking bath unfortunately there is no power in the pumpset so we returned from there and had our breakfast in his house. Meantime, we came to know there is no custom of having reception the day before marriage. We all surprised about that and more surprised this Sasi also didn’t know about this. Actually, it was favorable for us because we got more time to spend at courtalam falls. Then saravanan arranged the van for us. First we went for papanasam falls. In papanasam me, sasi, senthil, dharani, appu and vinoth went to one place where no one is there. There when senthil was taking the bath he was about to drown in the falls but fortunately vinoth and rajesh helped him to survive from that. After this we all went to main courtallam falls, small falls and five falls. it was most enjoyable. After this we all came back to his uncle’s house around at 11:00 PM and started sleeping

Next day, we all got up around at 5:30am and prepared ourselves by 7:00am. After taking a few snaps around at 7:45 am marriage van has arrived. We all boarded the van and reached the marriage hall around 8:00am. When we entered the marriage hall we surprised to see apart from us no one is there. The muhurtham timing was 9:30 to 11:00 am. After 15 min few members came from groom side and they requested us to take the breakfast. Meantime, we all finish our breakfast sasi and his family came by car with few marriage things. We helped him to keep those things into the marriage hall and then more people have started to gather. When the marriage about to happen Dharani was sleeping so we capture those and having fun with Dharani. After the marriage, Sasi stayed with his family Raman and Eswar went to kanniyakumari, me and others took the car for visiting Karaiyar Dam and Tiruchendur murugan temple. After a 3hrs of travel we reached the karaiyar dam which is aboue the papanasam falls. After we reached there we took the boat to travel other side of karaiyar dam. Then we took bath in the karaiyar falls.
From there we started to travel tiruchendur murugan temple. When we about to reach tiruchendur the driver was driving rashly. When he was try to over take a bus there was one shareauto in the opposite side suddenly he took the wrong turn and we all escaped from major accident. It was horrible situation especially me and appu were sitting in the front seat and thought we were gone. Luckily by god’s grace we escaped from major accident and requested the driver to drive slowly but still he was not listening our word and keep on driving on his own way. At that moment, we were praying god for to reach safely. After reaching we had our dinner and stayed at tiruchendur beach for a while. Then, booked the room to stay at night.

Next day we took bath in the tiruchendur beach and visited the temple after the dharshan we started to kanniyakumari by bus. Around at 5:30pm we reached kanniyakumari and booked the hotel near to beach. From there we all went to see the sunset and returned to our room. After that we spent time in the room by watching movies.
About tiruchendur Murugan Temple

It is one of the best temple have seen in my life. I have heard many things about Tiruchendur but after seeing the temple I like the temple very much. Because, It is very close to the beach. In the temple, There is one small hole opposite to the main deity where lord murugan will look towards the beach. In that if we keep our ear you will get OHM mantra. Moreover, this is the only place which was not affected by Sunami. Also, few places in the temple were constructed by digging the mount. After seeing this temple lord Murugan has become one of my favorite god.

Next day morning, we all got up to see the sunrise but unfortunately the sunrise was closed by the clouds. Then, we all prepared ourselves and started to visit Vivekanandar Rock and Tiruvalluvar Statue. There we spent lot of time for taking snaps while return rajesh new sleeper has been stolen. So,we searched for that but we couldn’t find it then, we returned to our room by 12:00 PM. Then me and brothers were went for shopping and others were watching the India vs Pakistan cricket match for asia cup. Around at 4:30 pm we all started to pack our things and reached the railway station by 5:15 pm. After boarding the train around at 5:35 pm the train started from kanniyakumari. Mean time Dharani and Shankar had a fight between them after that, myself and senthil were sharing our past experience about how we became friends and our struggles in our data entry job with our junior guys. We both enjoyed sharing our past experience with them. By the time train crossed tirunelveli sasi called us and told he and saravanan waiting in tirunelveli railway station to give the famous Tirunelveli Alwa. After we received that from him we took few snaps. Then nextday, we reached T.Nagar railway station by 7:00 am and taken the auto to reach our home.
We all thank Sasi for providing such an opportunity to enjoy the trip. Also, thanking saravanan for his wonderful hospitality. Moreover, We wish the marriage couple to have a Successful and Happy Married Life.
