The Match We all Enjoyed So Much...

After started playing cricket, recently we have won the first 3 match serious against Manohar team and beaten them 2-1 after that, Senthil fixed the match with another team for 3 match’s series. Whoever with the series will receive sum of Rs 300/- as a bet. So, before we started the series played a normal match against that opponent. In that match in spite of scoring 80 odd runs we failed to win the match because of poor fielding. Subsequent to that we played 1st match of the serious and lost the match by huge margin because of poor bowling, batting and fielding. Before starting the 2nd match of the serious Senthil was asking me to do the captain ship. Though, I was not interested first, later wanted to take that as a challenge. Because, last time when I was doing a captainship under Sekar; successfully we had won 9 matches continuously. But, when I was about to captain for 10th match suddenly without any prior information the captainship was handed over to Senthil. Though, I wasn’t cared about removing captainship was really embarrassed for the fact that being friends either Sekar or Senthil didn’t have courtesy to inform me and didn’t have any open talk. It was unforgettable.


After that now, Senthil has given another chance to do the captainship for me and successfully we won that match. It was a one of the greatest match we ever played because it was sheer team effort. Everyone in the team has contributed their part to win that match. Starting with Suresh and Sundar both opend the innings and played freely. Especially sundar has given the great start and played well. After him, Rajesh, Appu Senthil and I got out cheaply. Then, Shiva, vinoth and Sasi have established the innings with reasonable scores of 65 runs.

Last two times, we lost the match because of letting openers of the opponent team to score freely and didn’t take their wicket. So, this time we had a plan to restrict them by not giving free runs. For that we deployed 4 fielders in the close circle and 3 fielders on the boundary of offside. As per our plan, Dharani and Rajesh bowled with proper line and length; completion of their over’s they have given only 19 runs for 7 over’s and taken 3 wickets. It was greatest bowling by Dharani and Rajesh. Especially, Rajesh who doesn’t bowl frequently bowled very well on that day. After that, Shiva who came after long time to play with us bowled with great control and restricted the score by taking wickets. Also, Vinoth played his part to take the important wickets of the opponent. Moreover, Senthil kept well and didn’t give any extra runs for the opponent. Add to that, Suresh, sasi Sundar and other team members all fielded well and taken all the catches. Especially, Suresh has taken 3 important catches and sundar has taken one difficult catch. Overall, It was a perfect team effort each and every member of the team played with sprit and given 100% to win that match. Still, we have one more match pending to win the serious. We hope we will give out best efforts to win that match. Thought of writing this article after winning the serious, but the reason why I am writing now is, even if we miss that chance to win the serious at least this match will be remembered forever for our friends and team members stand out efforts.

After long time...

It has been a long time since I wrote a blog. After came out of Mphasis decided to wait few more days until I am getting comfortable and relaxed. There are people still waiting to get the credit for their hard work but when I got the credit I have resigned. Moreover I always content with what I have but there are circumstances which made me to take that decision to resign from Mphasis. It was one of my imperative decisions in my official career.

After I have resigned from Mphasis until join with HCL there were so many speculations and advice from each and every one which made me to confuse like anything. Normally, when I take decisions I always go with what I think never allow anyone to influence me. There are instance like when my parents were forcing me to study for 12^th STD and college I was stubborn and opted for ITI likewise there were so many instances. Because I always believe, GOD is with me if I am in trouble he will show me the way.
But when I have resigned from Mphasis I was not 100% sure if I am taking the right decision. But, after came out of Mphasis there are many enjoyable moments happened which I would like to share here.

Temple Visit

Joining with HCL

My first day with HCL was very interactive. Normally, I will keep quiet and doesn’t speak a word in any meeting. But on the joining day of HCL I was keep on interacting with each and everyone and completed the formalities. Next day, there was a induction program again it was very interactive. After that I have been asked to meet one of the project managers for getting assigned with project. Since the technology different from my original domain I had to deny that project and had to talk with project manager. This made them to put me in the bench for a month.

World Cup 2011

Normally, when would cup starts I glued with watching every match and never misses any game. But this year world cup I was not at all interested due to the fact I might not get the chance to watch the match once I joined with new company. But luckily, I did not get assigned with any project which gave me the chance to watch the matches. The first match which I interestingly watched was IND vs AUS
it was one of the best matches have seen recently where India given their best performance under pressure. The second match was against IND vs PAK which was another cracking match which I watched in Eswars house along with Eswar, Senthil, Dharani, Sasi and Raman. Finally the final again we watched in eswars house. When srilanka scored 280 odd runs we didn’t think india have any chance to win this especially they lost their strong openers sachin and sehwag in quick succession. But finally, Gamphir, Dhone and Yuvaraj have played one of their best ininings to secure the world cup victory for india. Till india won that match we all were superstitious about our place even we didn’t allow Dharani to go out and didn’t move from our place. Finally when india won we all shouted like anything and enjoyed so much.

I have started watching cricket on 1996 World Cup from that time to till now I have been watching india to get the world cup so many occasions I had sleepless night because of india loss. Finally after 15 years of watching the cricket india delivered their best performance by beating top teams like Aus, Pak ans Srilanka to get the world cup. It was one of the happiest moments in my life like millions of people in india.

Meeting our Old Friends

After almost 5 yrs Revathi and Saraswathi have came together for my home for inviting me and senthil for (Revathi) her 2^nd child’s birthday and Saraswathii for her marriage. We didn’t expect them to meet after a while but still they remembered both of us and invited. As planned, I and Senthil have attended her son’s birthday. Unfortunately, Senthil couldn’t come for saraswathi’s marriage. So, I had to go with our millennium friends for attending her marriage on Puttlur temple which is in Tiruvallur. I went to central railway station and met our old friends from there we all boarded the train to Tiruvallur. It was around 1hr 30min travel. Meantime, we all remembered our old days and they were sharing about their marriage life. After reaching the station, from there we went to putlur amman temple and wished saras for her marriage life. Then, I had my prayer to fulfill my wishes and started back. While coming back, I shared my experience; they were really happy about my progress and gave their suggestions about marriage life. After a long time it was really memorable moment to meet our friends and remembering our old days and sharing our experience.

Started Cricket Team Again

Almost after one year, again we have started our cricket team. Last time, when we have started our cricket team we continuously played for 3 years. Because of misunderstanding, we had to stop playing cricket. Last time, sekar was leading the team. Though, he had some good qualities didn’t react well with team members on few occasions because of that we lost the interest on playing cricket and had to stop playing cricket for a while. This time, Senthil, Dharan and I have taken the initiative to form the team and successfully we are able to play with available members without the help of Sekar to set the 11’s. Currently, Senthil is leading the team hopefully he makes each and every member to play with passion and let them enjoy every moment’s of cricket and win more games.

Assigned with Project

After a month, I have assigned with project called Lafarge in HCL. It is a UK based project and I am the only person for SCCM technology. First few weeks, I did not interact with anyone on my project. But After few days started to interact with people like Ramesh, Arul, Yuvaraj, Senthil, Keerthi and Eswar . Initially, when we didn’t have any work because of migration activities we all use to play cricket on every day. One of the match we played against another cricket team in that have opened the innings and scored around 30 plus runs in 4 over’s. In that have hit two 6’s and four 4’s; though I have been playing cricket for a while never played such kind of innings to score the runs that much faster. End of the match the opponent came and appreciated me for my batting and told you are the Man of the Match. I really enjoyed it later, when the phase 1 implementation completed the ticket started to flowing for all the team. Meantime, I had worked with WSUS implementation which involves plan, design and implementation phases. But unfortunately before rollout WSUS into the production the client has decided to drop the implementation plan for WSUS since they have decided SCCM is the only solution for patch management.
