Two weeks before me and my friends were discussing to go for solingur Anjaneyar temple. As planned last week Sunday(16-09-2009) we decided to go for that temple. This is the 3rd time am going to solingur with my friends. Last time, when I was going my Grand Mother was with us, now she is no more.
For this trip there were 20 persons along with my friends . we missed only Eswar. Because, he had some work due to that didn’t join with us. On Sunday morning from our street, we started around at 7:00 AM and reached central railway station at 7:30 AM. Due to late arrival we missed the 7:30 train and booked the ticket for 8:30 train. Normally, we will have a breakfast on Solingur itself since we missed the training decided to have a breakfast on central station itself. After had a breakfast around at 8:30 we got the train for arokkonam and started our travel. It was a One and Half hour journey to arokkonam after that we got the Bus from arokkonam to solingur. We reached solingur at around 11:30am. Meantime, Dharani who was stayed near to solingur also joined with us.
In solingur, there are 2 temples called Big Hill Temple and Small Hill Temple. The Big Hill temple has 750 feet height with a steps of 1305 there we can see Narashimar in the form of Yoga posture in comparison the Small Hill has only 350 feet height with 406 steps there we can see Yoga Anjaneyar. On both the temple there are many monkeys living and they will hover around the hills and try to get the prasadam’s from the devotees.
Whenever we go there we will take more time towards sightseeing but this time we didn’t spent much on that and decided to have dharshan as soon as possible. We have started to climb the temple at around 11:30 AM within 4hrs we had a darshan for both the temple. After had a dharshan in anjaneyar temple while coming out there were 2 monkeys waiting, in that one of the monkey was diving towards me and took the banana from my bag. This is the 2nd experience for me in this temple last time they took all my prasadams but this time they left archanai flowers and coconut . After had a very good dharshan we started back home and reached here at 8:30pm.
