On the verge to Marriage...

August 1 - First Visit (I and Mom)

After searching many alliances my family members have fed up to see alliance for me. then I decided to go with mother and see the girl, if we satisfied then we plan to go with our family members.

As decided, on this day my mother and I went to see Saranya. Before entering her house from front of house I made a call to her father and he welcomed us. When we entered there were around 7 to 8 members welcomed. initially, i had talk with their son-in-law
(Mr. Shiva) and then talk with all of their family members. after few minutes they introduced saranya to me and made her to sit on the floor. On first sight I have impressed with her traditional attire and look. After had a few words with her and family members we came back to our home.

August 2 – Confirmation

On next day, my mother had a confirmation from my side and said our liking about saranya and proceeded with further talk with her mother. Then, next day itself they proposed and agreed to come and see our family.

August 3 – First Visit (From Girl Side)

On next day, from saranya house around 9 members came and had a formal talk with our family members and proposed for one more visit with their relations.

August 7 – Second Visit (From Girl Side)

Again, from saranya house around 11 members came and get introduced with our relatives. On that meeting coincidentally found that one of our relatives are known to their relative’s family. After that there was a mutual consent from both the parties for further progress.

August 15 – Second Visit (From our side)

Subsequent to that from our side, our family members and relatives including shankar who came from onsite all are went to saranya house to see their family. There, first time my father, brothers and relatives had a talk with saranya and her family members. Since I was on work couldn’t join with them on 2^nd visit but my brother’s and nirmala shared what happened there.

August 21 – B (Food) 3^rd visit (From our side)

For this visit, my mother invited her uncle “thiruvenkatam” who is the well wisher for my mother from her side relations. After we introduced all of our mother’s relations and mutual consent from both the side, we went to have the custom lunch on their home where 2^nd time I have looked saranya and had stomach full of lunch and, also visited her uncle’s house. It was the first time I had a look at her twin sister and got confused that it was saranya J.

September 11 –G (Food) 3rd visit (from girl side)

After a bit of gap, again from saranya house came for custom lunch. For this, my mother took the challenge of preparing cook herself with the help of our relatives. Though, she is very well at cooking we feared whether she can manage that much people. But she managed well and cooked very well and got the appreciation from our relatives for the food.

Diwali Celebration...2011

It was a special Diwali for me, after my engagement it was the first festival celebration. Though, I was expecting to have joyous celebration it didn’t happen to be the one. Because of client visit on my project, I didn’t get leave for this diwali so till 6 o clock have spent in office itself. After 6 o clock started back to home and joined with my friends for diwali celebration. Initially, eswar brought some crackers we fired for some time. Later, we bought rockets then, as usual went to raman terrace where we fired all the rockets and flower pots. After spending a few hours in raman house we came out. Meantime, eswar was asking to go for walk around to see the glimpse of diwali celebration on next streets. As we walked on Next Street we saw M.K. Stalin celebrating diwali with his family firing some fancy crackers. He was very simple wearing “lungi” and watching the proceedings. After him, when we crossed next road we saw “Gowndamani” entering in his house. Suddenly, sasi called him and wished him for diwali. After him, we all wished him for diwali. Then, we all started back to home by saying Good bye to Diwali hoping next diwali will be much more special than this :-)

Munnar Trip (06-10-2011 to 10-10-2011)

We planned to go for Munnar trip almost a year back, for this we joined in chit fund to accumulate some reasonable amount. Before 2 months of the trip, shiva has booked the train ticket for departure on 8-10-2011 and return ticket on 11-10-2011. Though initially, Dharani told will not join for the trip as usual when we all started to plan the trip he too wanted to join with us.

On 06-10-2011

finally, as planned, on 06-10-2011 Thursday evening around @ 6 o clock I, Senthil, Sasi and Rajesh came early and sit on the call taxi. Meanwhile, eswar came and told he will get tiffin for us and told us he will come with others. Meantime, Dharani as usual not present on time along with shiva too. After waiting few min we started to central station. After we reached and searching for the platform eswar came angrily asked Sasi why you all came early together. After sasi replied he got pissed off and took his luggage and said he didn’t want to come for the trip and started to go back to home.

After seeing this I and raman went to him and asked for the reason. He told when he was waiting for Dharani and asked him why late he replied why you people are waiting for me. Which made him angry and they both had a quarrel. Because of this, eswar doesn’t want to come since he is also joining in the trip. I and raman tried to convince him like anything in the public but he wasn’t convinced. Later, along with us Senthil and Sasi also joined and requested him to come with us. After that, half heartedly he boarded the train with us. Meantime, we all questioned dharani about the incident who was not at all bothered about anything and was cool us cucumber.

After we all boarded the train, I, eswar, shiva and raman all have sit together in one compartment and Senthil,sasi,dharani,rajesh and Shankar have sat together on another dept. On travel, we were chatting together and took some snaps there particularly eswar was still thinking about the incident and not fully involved on the journey. Around at 8 o clock, we started to have our dinner which we ordered from Saravanan and started to go sleep.

Next Day 7-10-2011

Around at 5 o clock we got up and prepared our luggage and reached the Alluva station around at 6 o clock. After we refreshedon railway station and came out with the feeling of entering into kerala first time in our lives. It was totally different feeling when we compare kerala with Chennai. The buses, auto rikshas and shops all were different from Chennai. After had a tea on shop we started walking towards bus stop. After waiting for few min, we got the bus to Munnar. Since it was a 3 and half hour trip to Munnar via mountains we didn’t wanted to waste a time and started to board the bus in spite of there was no seat available for us. After most of them have slept I and sasi were watching the route. Since it was first time travelling in mountain for that much distance we really scared of curve roads. After reaching, few minute later one of the guide known to sasi and rejesh came and took us to the place where we are going to stay.Also, he arranged one driver to show us the places near to Munnar. We all taken the bath in the hotel and I took some snaps with senthil, sasi, dharani, rajesh , shiva and Shankar. After few hrs a driver named sanoj came and 1st he took us to Rajamalai national park. There I took some snaps with eawar ,raman and shiva. There, after spending few hours climate was totally changed and we felt the mist crossing us.From there we went to Devikulam waterfalls. Since the climate was already cool when we place our foot on the water it felt like putting on the ice cube. But all were reluctant to take bath in that because of coolness. But after I jumped into the water and started to enjoy and scream Sasi,Senthil,rajesh, Shankar,dharani and shiva all joined with me and started to enjoy. It was the best ever enjoyment we had in the water falls. After that we took some snaps and had snacks in the nearby tea stall. It was the best joyous experience we had in Munnar. After this, we started back to room while coming bought the dinner from fast food and reached room around 8 o clock. There,I eswar, raman and shiva all shared one room and others were shared another room. Meantime, there was a champion’s league cricket match played between RCB and NSW so we watched that match in which gayle played superb innings and secured victory for banglore and after the match we started to sleep.

Next Day 8-09-2011

I and Senthil have got up early and ready with new costumes then slowly everyone got ready. Around at 9:30 the driver came and we started. Before we reached the jeep sasi and rajesh took the front seat with driver. I was sitting back to driver seat with dharani,shiva and eswar. senthil, raman Shankar were sitting on the back of the jeep. From there we went to Mettupetty Dam and took some snaps there

From there we went to Echo Point where I shouted Senthil name which echoed back. There we had a tea from different flavors then we went to Mattupetty Pedal Boating. After the water falls this is the place we enjoyed so much. There, I and Senthil rented the double seated pedal boat for 30 min after reaching some distance we took some snaps between our friends.

From there, we went to place called Top station it is a wonderful place to get the glimpse of kerala and tamilnadu border. After paying entry fee Rs 15 you need trek around 1 km distance to reach the top station. There we enjoyed seeing everything from the top of the mountain and took some snaps with Eswar. After seeing this, we returned back to room on the way we shopped for house hold items for my home and bought the dinner from the road side shop. It was around 2 hrs of travel we felt cold and mist was covering all the places barely driver can’t see other vehicle. Finally, when we reached the home we started to watch the CPL match Mumbai Indian vs Somerset where Mumbai Indians won after the match we started to sleep.

Next day 09-09-2011,

Since few of them wanted to go back to office on Monday we decided to return home on Sunday itself. So, we decided to spend only half a day and return back to home. As per this, when driver came we told our plan and asked him to show the place where we can come back to bus stop early. As per that, he took us to Tata Tea Estate where we paid entry fee Rs 75/- tasted complimentary tea which was best ever tea we tasted. There we have been demonstrated how the tea prepared from plantation and its different verities. Then we I and eswar purchased some tea bags for our home. After, we saw a documentary film about the Munnar and how it has become tourist place. From There, we went to Tea Museum where we took some snaps. In those, one of the highlighted snap was making Dharani stand under buffalo horn which was suited him as like it is actually grown from his head.

After this, we started back to bus stand to get the bus for “Theni” meanwhile the driver helped us to get the jeep to drop us on Madurai. We boarded the jeep around at 3 o clock and started to travel Madurai via “Theni”. On the way to theni we came across many hair pin bends. The driver told it was around 18 plus hair pin bends from Munnar to theni. After we reached theni couldn’t control myself and got motion sick. Then, on the way to Madurai we had tea around “andipatti” district. Then, we reached Madurai around at 9 PM. Since there was a not private bus avilable we took the government bus though it was uncomfortable 8 hrs travel at least we reached home by 7 o clock on Monday 10-10-2011.

It was one of the best trips we made after tirunelveli. On Tirunelveli, sasi, eswar and raman were not part of the whole trip. But in this everyone were there till the end. Though, eswar initially didn’t want to come because the quarrel with dharani later he realized that if he had not come would have missed all the enjoyments. Overall we enjoyed this trip like anything especially the sceneries which we saw in Munnar one of the best ever seen in our life. Hope our next trip will more exiting than this :-)

The Match We all Enjoyed So Much...

After started playing cricket, recently we have won the first 3 match serious against Manohar team and beaten them 2-1 after that, Senthil fixed the match with another team for 3 match’s series. Whoever with the series will receive sum of Rs 300/- as a bet. So, before we started the series played a normal match against that opponent. In that match in spite of scoring 80 odd runs we failed to win the match because of poor fielding. Subsequent to that we played 1st match of the serious and lost the match by huge margin because of poor bowling, batting and fielding. Before starting the 2nd match of the serious Senthil was asking me to do the captain ship. Though, I was not interested first, later wanted to take that as a challenge. Because, last time when I was doing a captainship under Sekar; successfully we had won 9 matches continuously. But, when I was about to captain for 10th match suddenly without any prior information the captainship was handed over to Senthil. Though, I wasn’t cared about removing captainship was really embarrassed for the fact that being friends either Sekar or Senthil didn’t have courtesy to inform me and didn’t have any open talk. It was unforgettable.


After that now, Senthil has given another chance to do the captainship for me and successfully we won that match. It was a one of the greatest match we ever played because it was sheer team effort. Everyone in the team has contributed their part to win that match. Starting with Suresh and Sundar both opend the innings and played freely. Especially sundar has given the great start and played well. After him, Rajesh, Appu Senthil and I got out cheaply. Then, Shiva, vinoth and Sasi have established the innings with reasonable scores of 65 runs.

Last two times, we lost the match because of letting openers of the opponent team to score freely and didn’t take their wicket. So, this time we had a plan to restrict them by not giving free runs. For that we deployed 4 fielders in the close circle and 3 fielders on the boundary of offside. As per our plan, Dharani and Rajesh bowled with proper line and length; completion of their over’s they have given only 19 runs for 7 over’s and taken 3 wickets. It was greatest bowling by Dharani and Rajesh. Especially, Rajesh who doesn’t bowl frequently bowled very well on that day. After that, Shiva who came after long time to play with us bowled with great control and restricted the score by taking wickets. Also, Vinoth played his part to take the important wickets of the opponent. Moreover, Senthil kept well and didn’t give any extra runs for the opponent. Add to that, Suresh, sasi Sundar and other team members all fielded well and taken all the catches. Especially, Suresh has taken 3 important catches and sundar has taken one difficult catch. Overall, It was a perfect team effort each and every member of the team played with sprit and given 100% to win that match. Still, we have one more match pending to win the serious. We hope we will give out best efforts to win that match. Thought of writing this article after winning the serious, but the reason why I am writing now is, even if we miss that chance to win the serious at least this match will be remembered forever for our friends and team members stand out efforts.

After long time...

It has been a long time since I wrote a blog. After came out of Mphasis decided to wait few more days until I am getting comfortable and relaxed. There are people still waiting to get the credit for their hard work but when I got the credit I have resigned. Moreover I always content with what I have but there are circumstances which made me to take that decision to resign from Mphasis. It was one of my imperative decisions in my official career.

After I have resigned from Mphasis until join with HCL there were so many speculations and advice from each and every one which made me to confuse like anything. Normally, when I take decisions I always go with what I think never allow anyone to influence me. There are instance like when my parents were forcing me to study for 12^th STD and college I was stubborn and opted for ITI likewise there were so many instances. Because I always believe, GOD is with me if I am in trouble he will show me the way.
But when I have resigned from Mphasis I was not 100% sure if I am taking the right decision. But, after came out of Mphasis there are many enjoyable moments happened which I would like to share here.

Temple Visit

Me and my mother both have went for Nagoor and Tirumanancheri sundareshwara perumal temple before joining with HCL to fulfill our wishes.

Joining with HCL

My first day with HCL was very interactive. Normally, I will keep quiet and doesn’t speak a word in any meeting. But on the joining day of HCL I was keep on interacting with each and everyone and completed the formalities. Next day, there was a induction program again it was very interactive. After that I have been asked to meet one of the project managers for getting assigned with project. Since the technology different from my original domain I had to deny that project and had to talk with project manager. This made them to put me in the bench for a month.

World Cup 2011

Normally, when would cup starts I glued with watching every match and never misses any game. But this year world cup I was not at all interested due to the fact I might not get the chance to watch the match once I joined with new company. But luckily, I did not get assigned with any project which gave me the chance to watch the matches. The first match which I interestingly watched was IND vs AUS
it was one of the best matches have seen recently where India given their best performance under pressure. The second match was against IND vs PAK which was another cracking match which I watched in Eswars house along with Eswar, Senthil, Dharani, Sasi and Raman. Finally the final again we watched in eswars house. When srilanka scored 280 odd runs we didn’t think india have any chance to win this especially they lost their strong openers sachin and sehwag in quick succession. But finally, Gamphir, Dhone and Yuvaraj have played one of their best ininings to secure the world cup victory for india. Till india won that match we all were superstitious about our place even we didn’t allow Dharani to go out and didn’t move from our place. Finally when india won we all shouted like anything and enjoyed so much.

I have started watching cricket on 1996 World Cup from that time to till now I have been watching india to get the world cup so many occasions I had sleepless night because of india loss. Finally after 15 years of watching the cricket india delivered their best performance by beating top teams like Aus, Pak ans Srilanka to get the world cup. It was one of the happiest moments in my life like millions of people in india.

Meeting our Old Friends

After almost 5 yrs Revathi and Saraswathi have came together for my home for inviting me and senthil for (Revathi) her 2^nd child’s birthday and Saraswathii for her marriage. We didn’t expect them to meet after a while but still they remembered both of us and invited. As planned, I and Senthil have attended her son’s birthday. Unfortunately, Senthil couldn’t come for saraswathi’s marriage. So, I had to go with our millennium friends for attending her marriage on Puttlur temple which is in Tiruvallur. I went to central railway station and met our old friends from there we all boarded the train to Tiruvallur. It was around 1hr 30min travel. Meantime, we all remembered our old days and they were sharing about their marriage life. After reaching the station, from there we went to putlur amman temple and wished saras for her marriage life. Then, I had my prayer to fulfill my wishes and started back. While coming back, I shared my experience; they were really happy about my progress and gave their suggestions about marriage life. After a long time it was really memorable moment to meet our friends and remembering our old days and sharing our experience.

Started Cricket Team Again

Almost after one year, again we have started our cricket team. Last time, when we have started our cricket team we continuously played for 3 years. Because of misunderstanding, we had to stop playing cricket. Last time, sekar was leading the team. Though, he had some good qualities didn’t react well with team members on few occasions because of that we lost the interest on playing cricket and had to stop playing cricket for a while. This time, Senthil, Dharan and I have taken the initiative to form the team and successfully we are able to play with available members without the help of Sekar to set the 11’s. Currently, Senthil is leading the team hopefully he makes each and every member to play with passion and let them enjoy every moment’s of cricket and win more games.

Assigned with Project

After a month, I have assigned with project called Lafarge in HCL. It is a UK based project and I am the only person for SCCM technology. First few weeks, I did not interact with anyone on my project. But After few days started to interact with people like Ramesh, Arul, Yuvaraj, Senthil, Keerthi and Eswar . Initially, when we didn’t have any work because of migration activities we all use to play cricket on every day. One of the match we played against another cricket team in that have opened the innings and scored around 30 plus runs in 4 over’s. In that have hit two 6’s and four 4’s; though I have been playing cricket for a while never played such kind of innings to score the runs that much faster. End of the match the opponent came and appreciated me for my batting and told you are the Man of the Match. I really enjoyed it later, when the phase 1 implementation completed the ticket started to flowing for all the team. Meantime, I had worked with WSUS implementation which involves plan, design and implementation phases. But unfortunately before rollout WSUS into the production the client has decided to drop the implementation plan for WSUS since they have decided SCCM is the only solution for patch management.

Mphasis Experience (About Me)

Finally, my 3 ½ years stint with Mphasis has come to an end. I always felt missed my college life. But GOD is kind enough to give me that chance in the form working with Mphasis. If I look back, in my 15yrs of work experience I came across different work profiles, companies, people and culture. When I compare the culture what I have seen from my first company to till now there is drastic changes in everything. Before I joined with Mphasis which ever companies have worked, I was one of the best in that company.But after I have joined here I felt like am in different world which never experienced before.

Here, main goal was to complete my M.B.A and improve my communication. Being Dynamic person always believe in my hard work. So, I never concentrated much on learning new technologies because i believe wherever I go can learn fast.

Here, I saw the people with great talent which made me to realize still there is long way to become a best. So I had to be patience, observe and analyze in each and everything.

There are occasions made me Tempestuous but I had to accept the challenges, defeat and failures. But ultimately, it has given the experience. There are people who made me Audacious but, I never let any chance which gave me a new lessons. Being a self-centered guy, each and every moment I had spent with everyone was to improve my self and learn the good qualities of them. But I was open and honest with everyone. I never accepted in my life anyone is better than me but here I had to accept a few people and learned how to accept the people as they are. Being close with every one made me to influence by others ideas and think different.

At the end, I am glad for achieving most of the things which can be a foundation for my next level of career.

This is the place that I have worked with so many wonderful people. I just want to have a personal thought about each and every one whom I closely associated with Mphasis . While writing this I could not concentrate on Grammar. So, please bear with my English.

The stint what I had with him was very short but the impact was great. He is the one who valued me and gave me the confident. He is a person who is best friend for me in ISL. He is so talented, Always thinks differently, assertive, lively, wholehearted, friendly, great communication skills ,always have good thought’s and so much of belief, in spite of having so much of talent he was so humble . The suggestions and guidance what he has given in that short period was so helpful. He is the only person I am inspired and aspired so much. He is one of the person who gave the gift and made me emotional when he left.

He is the person difficult to understand by others. But, if you understand him the experience and knowledge you will get will be tremendous. Easily he can read the people and situation. There is a lot to learn from him. He is the one who understands me than anyone else. someone who doesn’t have any capability he will make him a better person, but you need to trust him. He is a strategic person has great communication skills, knowledge, presence of mind, great command, handle any situation and supportive. Also, knows how to get the work done from others. He had a trust and patience with me for my ability which made me a better person. Moreover, he is one of the person who introduced me to his parents. I have high regards form him.

He is the person given the chance to work with ISL Desktop team. There was the time I openly accepted couldn’t able the task. But, he is the one motivated me and gave the confidence. Certain times he credited for my work but when it really matters I got disappointed. But still, He is very diplomatic person, knows very well how to handle the situation than compare to people.He was nice person for me and I had so much of trust in him until the moment when I had my last discussion.

He is the one who recognized me for my efforts and gave the credit. Being the person only stayed six months. He had a great reputation about me. Whenever I had talked with him he shares his experience about him and asked me to do the same. He is a nice guy. There was a time he made me to embarrass in front of the ISL people which hurt me most. But still, he is the man on his words who did what he said.

She is another senior person whom I have great respect. She is exceptional because I never seen any leader talk to me the way it has to be and acted upon that. She is very professional, has great communication, cool and composed. The great thing about her is, In spite of having all these she is so humble. She is the person who transformed as a Good Leader. Being my last team lead, she was so supportive, encouraging and provided valuable suggestions for me.

Especially, initial times I was so uncomfortable and felt bad about myself for not able to do well. But, he made me to realize I am better than what I am and gave the time to understand the things. I didn’t get much chance to interact with Ajay until a few months before he left. He is a person whom valued me so much. He is friendly, lively, open, talkative, naive and knows how to build the relationship. He is the person shared all his views about me and himself. When I compare him from the time what I saw, he transformed from one level to another level. Best thing about Ajay is very open.

Though, being a senior guy i didn't have much interactions to know more about him.But, He is another person who is very nice with me. Still i remember the LDAP session which he presented for ISL team which made him a popular person with senior management. When i have completed my M.B.A he came to know by others and called me and had a discussion around 45 minutes. He was sharing all his experience and gave the suggestions for me to be a successful Manager. He is another nice person.

He is the first person whom I have met on get together party before joined with Mphasis. Being a person comes from richest family he never behaved such a way :) He is simple, liberal, friendly, intellectual, talkative and cheerful person who can make anyone glad. I never saw anyone like him to talk about any subject with that much deep knowledge. He is one of the person who anyone wants to hangout. There have been occasions he made me angry but still he is the person whom I like very much for his humorous.

Few occasions he gave some wrong information to me about himself but after few months he told the truth. He is daring person does dangerous things but still nice and friendly.

She is the first girl have met in get together party before joined with Mphasis. From the day I joined to till now she is the only one knows me very well then anybody else. She is a Girl who is a best friend for me, in-spite of that when she met in accident i didn't get the chance to see her in hospital. Still, I regret it. She is the one of the person who helped me for my first presentation with ISL. The cube decoration which she won the first prize it was brilliant. Several occasions whenever I needed she helped me. She is simple, affable, clever, precise communication, and compassionate. She is a good listener has quick grasping power. she is always very responsive and helpful for me even if i make her angry. she knows how to get the work done from others and hope she will become a Manager soon.

Rathina kumar Shiva

He is the person who joined with me on same day. From the day to till left he is a very good friend for me. He is simple, organized; straight forward, jovial, uncluttered, and firm on his decisions also never shows his weakness to others. He is the one who made me to mingle with other people and guided me to be comfortable on certain situations.Still, i remember his
"pulikesi " and dance performance in ISL outing, it was outstanding. He is a very balanced person on his personal and official life. He is a near to a perfect person who has most of the good qualities. Moreover, he is one of the people who introduced me to his parents.

He is the first person to get introduced when i am joined with Mphasis. He is one of the talented guy have seen in my life. He is a sensational talent, think differently, tech savvy, professional, confident and knows how to sell himself. The initial stage, he was the one who encouraged and motivated me for my betterment. At times, his attitude made me angry so I stopped responding him but still he was trying to help when it is needed. He was a very good friend until he left.
